Matt Goulding is the co-founder of the independent media company Roads & Kingdoms. He’s also the author of Grape, Olive, Pig: Deep Travels Through Spain’s Food Culture. This book was so outstanding I had to track Matt down for a conversation. Our talk ranged from his 20-year food writing career, to how and why he moved to Spain, and working with the late Anthony Bourdain.
David Quaamen is a Montana-based science, nature, and travel writer. His books on evolutionary biology include The Song of the Dodo and The Tangled Tree. His articles have appeared in Outside Magazine, National Geographic, Harper’s, Rolling Stone, The New York Times Book Review, The New Yorker, and other periodicals.
